Employee Rights

Know your rightsUnderstand your rights and obligations as an employee.

There is a lot to know, here's a little guiding hand.

As an employee you have a range of rights, equally you’re obligated and encouraged to behave in certain ways just like an employer.

There are a variety of Government, union based and private advice sources and these really are the best place to vist if you are in any doubt about your working conditions, contractual arrangements and / or anything related to your employment.

Rather than repeat the considerable volumes of information out there, we thought we would use this space to provide you with relevant links and info about the resources available. This doen't cover everything, but should be a good starting place.

Directgov gives you easy access to government information and services. It uses simple language and presentation across the web and mobile. Content is written in plain English, and you can read most of it in Welsh. Directgov works closely with government departments to bring information for the public all together in one place.
